Bij The Beauty Spell draait alles om kwaliteit, persoonlijke aandacht en passie voor schoonheid.
Naast mij bestaat ons team uit twee geweldige collega’s — ieder met haar eigen specialiteit, stijl en persoonlijkheid.
Samen zorgen we ervoor dat elke klant zich gezien, verzorgd en stralend voelt.

Aya Hassani

Hallo! Mijn naam is Aya Hassani, het gezicht achter The Beauty Spell. Met een achtergrond in commerciële economie en tekenen als hobby groeide mijn passie voor beauty al snel uit tot mijn beroep. In 2014 opende ik samen met mijn moeder onze eerste haar- en beautysalon in Assen.

Mijn liefde voor het creëren van perfecte wenkbrauwen bracht me van browshaping naar PMU, zoals microblading, powderbrows, eyeliner en lipblush — en daar vond ik mijn echte passie. Door cursussen te blijven volgen, blijf ik mezelf ontwikkelen en lever ik het beste resultaat voor elke klant.

Na zes mooie jaren bij HairCare Assen opende ik in december 2020 mijn eigen salon in Groningen: The Beauty Spell — fris, vrolijk en fabulous, precies zoals ik het wilde. Wat begon als een solo avontuur is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een hecht team met twee geweldig leuke collega’s, een prachtige aanwinst voor de salon!
Het mooiste aan mijn werk?
Die ene glimlach aan het einde van de behandeling — dat is waar ik mijn energie en passie uit haal. Daar doe ik het voor!

Hi! I’m Emilia Radkowska, a certified nail and brow stylist from Poland.
​
My nail journey began when I was just 12. Inspired by my sister, I started doing my own nails and instantly fell in love with the process.
​
In 2022, I decided to take my passion to the next level and joined a 6-month nail stylist school in Poland. From there, I continued improving my skills through constant practice and online courses — and that’s when I knew: this is what I’m meant to do.
​
In 2023, I moved from Poland to the Netherlands and a year later, in 2024, I proudly opened my own salon — Glitter n Stones.
​
Over the years, I have gained over 10 certificates, including gel extensions, Russian manicure, dual form extensions, advanced nail art techniques and more — so I can offer high-quality and up-to-date services to my clients.
​
I specialize in long gel extensions with durability and a precise, detailed shape, as well as outstanding nail art — from luxury designs to sparkling rhinestones, intricate details, and eye-catching glamour ✨. But if you prefer something more soft and natural, I also offer elegant minimal designs, biab and natural-looking manicures.
​
Because I love helping others feel confident and beautiful, in 2025 I discovered a new passion — brows! I became a certified brow stylist, offering brow lamination, tinting, and henna brows.

It’s been an amazing journey so far, and I’m so excited for everything that’s still ahead!

Killer Nails

Hi there! I’m Emilia SzydÅ‚owska, the nail tech behind Killer Nails💅
​
My nail journey began when I was just 14, after I asked Santa for my very first nail kit — and it was love at first sight. I started experimenting on myself and my friends (even though those first sets were far from perfect!).
​
A few months later, during my summer vacation at a lake I visited every year with my parents, life brought me a lucky coincidence — the wife of campsite’s owner, whom I’d known since childhood, turned out to be a professional nail tech and educator. She noticed my passion immediately and took me under her wing. Thanks to her, I discovered that manicure is much more than just beauty- it’s a form of art, creativity, and precision.

Throughout my teenage years, I kept coming back to her for more classes and kept perfecting my skills. In 2023, I moved from Poland to the Netherlands to study Economics and Business Economics at the University of Groningen (RUG). Combining my studies with my lifelong passion, I decided to take a leap and open my own salon — Killer Nails.
​
I love showing people that nails don’t always have to mean long extensions or crazy art — they can also be about feeling clean, classy, and put-together. Whether you’re into a natural look or something bold, I’ll make sure your nails feel you! ✨
